Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Blueberries frozen
  • 1 medium Banana sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 cup Baby spinach cleaned
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup Milk *I used 2%/use any
  • 1 tbsp Honey/Maple syrup *add extra if the blueberries are tart
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Place the greek yogurt, vanilla, and milk in the bottom of the blender. Next, add spinach, frozen blueberries, and sliced bananas.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy puree. You can add 1-2 tbsp of water at a time as needed to blend it smoothly.
  • Add some honey or any sweetener of your choice. Blend it well for about 10 seconds and serve.

Notes

  • Use a good quality high-power blender like Vitamix, Blendtec, or NutriBullet. You will achieve a perfectly blended and smooth smoothie every time.
  • If you don’t own a high-power blender, chop the fruits into small pieces. 
  • Run your blender for a long time to achieve a smoother consistency if you aren’t using a high-power blender.
  • Using frozen fruits is key for making the best, thick, and creamy smoothie. Frozen fruits will help keep your smoothie thick and frosty. If you did not get time for freezing the fruits, you can use a few ice cubes for achieving the same.
